The primary requirement of our client was to analyse her original web shop. After analysing and implementing the appropriate tools to track customer behaviour, we came across several shortcomings that were hampering the customer when purchasing their products. The original website was developed on an outdated version of the system and contained a number of bugs that required more time to repair and edit than to create a new web shop. Therefore, we decided to deploy a new PrestaShop based solution. We designed the new web shop more robustly than the outdated one, taking into account the client’s future goal, that the number of products in this web shop will grow considerably with the upcoming years. For this reason, we’ve prepared a product categorisation on the main page to give customers the easiest access to the product. For an easier navigation throughout the website we included a ‘megamenu’ and a predictive search option. Several functions were integrated into the web shop, such as output for Eureka price comparison, payment gateway implementation, connection with POHODA system and many other functionalities.
