CryoniQ is one of the world leaders in the production of cryosauna. It has offices all over the world, so one of the main requirements was to have the site in many languages, with translations and content controlled from a single administration interface. Due to the global presence, it was also necessary to handle the distribution of the website to individual countries, since if the server is located in Slovakia, connections from countries on the other side of the world may show a long response time when loading the website, which may impact the Google search results in that country, plus due to the delay in loading, some potential customers may close the page, which may cause the company to lose a potential client. That’s why we used a CDN – content delivery network to distribute the website, which distributes the page to local servers and thus speeds up the loading time in that country. Since, based on our experience, Google in most cases in search results prefers national domains to domains from other countries or generic (.com, .net, .org), the website is controlled from one place, but its content in other languages is distributed separately for each domain in a given country.
WordPress as the basis of a website
It was important for the client to launch the website in all languages as quickly as possible. For this reason, we opted for WordPress, as by using this system we saved a lot of time and thus were able to meet the client’s deadline. Currently, the client’s demands on the functionality of the website as well as the internal company and complaint system have increased, so we are currently working on a solution based on the TYPO 3 CMS system.
The WordPress platform is suitable for both small and sophisticated web solutions.
