Creation of a website with an eshop for alcohol delivery in Bratislava Do dna. Delivery services have several specifics compared to classic eshop solutions. In this segment, the number of visitors via mobile phones is up to a figure of around 95 percent. For this reason, in the first phase of the project we focused mainly on this type of customer. Of course, we did not neglect the web version of the project either. Both the mobile and web versions include an eshop built on WooCommerce. The eshop is modified for delivery needs and the purchase process recalculates the delivery according to the order amount of the goods based on the individual zones. The eshop part also includes card payment. On the mobile version of the website, it is possible to choose from packages which can also be paid via SMS payment.
simplicity of the system to increase efficiency
The goal of any delivery service is to get the ordered goods to the customer as quickly and efficiently as possible. For this reason, the eshop website dodna.sk is connected to the operator module where the operator assigns the order to the driver according to the zone to which the driver is currently headed. This results in delivery efficiency – the time for order processing is shortened and fuel is saved at the same time. Among other things, the system can see the number of orders the driver has handled in a given day and view its efficiency. In addition, the operations manager gets an overview of sales for a given day or period. Sort orders by the selected payment type, reward repeat customers. We are currently developing warehouse management and other functionalities for this system.
We have tried to make the ordering process as simple as possible so that everyone can order on the website. We have made everything, including the look of the site. Changing the design to simplicity has contributed to a significant increase in orders. We added interactive filters to the design structure to make it easy for everyone to find the goods they want.
For easier use on mobile
As we mentioned above, mobile traffic to the e-shop is up to 98 percent on this site. For this reason, we subordinated the entire graphic design to this version. One of the main priorities was that the customer should be able to call the dispatcher immediately in addition to the standard purchase via the e-shop. We managed to solve this by adding a phone number to each product tab in the product list.
Cheerful running bottle logo
When creating this logo, we did not follow the traditional principles that we normally use when creating. The client’s main concern was that the logo should be easy to remember and convey the speed of the delivery service. For this reason, we created a delivery service mascot logo that represents a running bottle.
Stickers, lighters, can designs and more
In addition to the creation of the e-shop, the system for delivery operators, the logo and corporate identity, we also designed the look and feel of promotional items, banners for campaigns, billboards, can designs for Dodna’s own brand of drink. By doing so, we strengthened the brand awareness.
