How we modernised the digital face of the heating systems expert

HERZ has been a leader in the Slovak market for 20 years in the field of heating systems and control technology. With a portfolio of more than 5000 products and a team of 15 experts, HERZ stands for quality and innovation. When modernising their web presentation, we were faced with the challenge of transferring their extensive product catalogue into a clear form that simplifies content management.

Why was the modernisation necessary?

The original HERZ website could no longer adequately present the extensive product catalogue with more than 20 categories. The outdated design and complicated structure made it difficult to navigate. The goal was to create a clear, business efficient and easy to manage web presentation with automatic synchronization with the internal system.

How did we solve it?

We proceeded to modernize the existing site with a migration to WordPress and implementation of advanced integration. We modernized the visual identity of the site while maintaining the key elements of the HERZ brand.

We moved existing content into WordPress and created an API to connect to the Karat warehouse system, allowing automatic data synchronization.

A clearer structure

We have created an optimized structure in WordPress that allows visitors to easily navigate from an overview of categories to detailed information about specific products. Each product page includes clear technical specifications, related products and up-to-date information on stock availability.

Emphasis on benefits

Instead of long technical descriptions, we focused the communication on practical benefits for users. We emphasized the proven quality of the German manufacturer, the possibility to obtain comprehensive system solutions from a single supplier and the availability of expert advice.

Practical references

We have implemented a section presenting real installations and projects that demonstrate the practical use of HERZ products. We have shown installations of biomass boilers, examples of the use of solar systems and the application of control technology in complex heating systems.

Easy contact

We’ve created easy ways to contact the company that are accessible from every page of the site. Visitors can use the contact page with a map, fill out a form for technical questions or quickly find the nearest dealers.

Modernisation results

The new WordPress website has brought significant improvements to HERZ. Content management is now 75% more efficient. Process automation through synchronization with Karat saves dozens of hours of manual work per month. The user experience has improved, as evidenced by the reduction in the rate of immediate departures. The modernized design is fully responsive and the implementation of advanced filters simplifies the search in the catalog.
